Our Cleaning Service has a complementary App that allows hosts and property managers to track the progress of your booking.

Our teams do a check-in and check-out through a Geo-location system. Once the cleaning is finished photos are uploaded to report any property condition

What to expect from our Airbnb cleaning?

Standard Dusting, Wiping and Sanitising of accessible surfaces, touch point areas on furniture, Polishing 
mirrors, Vacuuming and Mopping of hard floors and/or carpet & Emptying all bins.

Bathroom

  • Clean the shower, glasses, mirrors, bathtub, toilet, and sink.
  • Change mats and towels.
  • Replace the hand towel & bath mat.
  • Restock toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo & body wash.

Bedroom

  • Spot wipe wardrobe surfaces.
  • Change of Bed Linen for 1 bed (quilt cover, pillow case & set of sheets).
  • Replace towels.
  • Vacuum under the bed if accessible.

Kitchen

  • Clean external stove, splash-back, cupboards, sink, & microwave in & out.
  • Spot Wipe Over -if accessible- inside the bottom surfaces of kitchen cupboards.
  • Spot Wipe Over inside fridge.
  • Spot Wipe Over inside oven.
  • Unload dishwasher and put dishes away.
  • Replace the tea towel.
  • Restock consumables.
  • Check inside the washing machine.

Important notice!

Following the safety recommendations of the Fire and Rescue Authority, no drying machines are allowed to be left running unattended. Blue Clean does not provide wash and dry services at the property.

Extras

  • If you supply your linens and towels, we can manage the laundry for a small extra fee. This includes pick-up and drop-off at a local laundry (under 5 mins away). The laundry expenses will be charged to your card, and receipts will be uploaded to our tracking via our app and emailed to you.

Please note

Other items requiring laundry service, such as blankets, doonas, pillows, cushions, rugs, etc, are excluded from this service.
Linen must be returned if you ever stop renting out your property. Our team will pick up at no extra charge. Penalty fees apply if unreturned.

Our linen service provides a hassle-free solution for fresh, high-quality bedding and towels for your Airbnb. Hire our linen and ensure your guests always enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay without you needing to manage laundry logistics.

Getting Your Airbnb Accommodation Ready for Blue Clean

To help us provide the best possible cleaning service for your property, please ensure the following are accessible to our team:

  1. An instructions manual must be supplied to us to follow your listing presentation and important information for our teams including parking availability and location, access and job specifications.
  2. A cleaning window of 4 hours must be given for small and medium size properties (Eg.10 am – 2 pm or 11 am – 3 pm) for the cleaning to happen anytime after and before the set time for check-out and check-in).​
    For large properties, a cleaning window of 6 hours must be provided (Eg. 10 am – 4 pm) for the cleaning to happen anytime between the set time for check-in and check-out.​
    Guests may drop off their bags earlier and come back later for the check-in. Blue Clean must be informed for our teams to be aware of other people entering the property.
  3. Visitor’s parking or free street parking must be available for the time our teams perform the job. Extra charges may apply if free parking is not available.​
  4. If you are unable to be contacted due to being interstate, overseas or with poor or no reception, you must provide an emergency contact for us to inform any unpredictable issues.​
  5. The property must have a vacuum cleaner and a mop available as some guests like to maintain the property during their stay. It also gives our teams more flexibility to manage parking limitations and carry cleaning equipment for long distances. By doing so our teams are able to attend last-minute bookings in time for the check-ins.
  6. Every property must have Two lockboxes with keys. 1 for guests 1 for cleaners. This gives us flexibility to respond to last minute bookings and help guests in case they lock out themselves, lose the keys, or miss putting the keys back in the letterbox after check-out.
  7. If you choose not to add our Linen Hire Service and you decide to supply your own linen, please be aware that laundry stores may close on Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays, and during the Easter and Christmas break.
    The linen and towels supplied by you must be well labelled and have to be a complete set of linen, pillowcases and towels. Extra charges may apply if our teams need to spend more time finding the right pieces to make the bed.
    You must supply a convenient alternative for our teams to drop off the used linen where it won’t disturb your guests’ stay and does not add extra charges like travel time.
    Each BED needs to have:
    • 4 pillowcases
    • 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 1 doona cover
    • Or triple sheets for hotel style bed making
    • 1 or 2 bath towels
    • 3 full sets of linen and towels to rotate between changeovers
    • 1 set on the beds
    • 1 spare set in the lockup cupboard
    • 1 set at the laundry in a washing

  8. If you choose not to add our Guest Amenities Pack, a cupboard with a locker/combination lock to store linen, towels and supplies to restock should be supplied. The cupboard key should be added to the cleaners’ lockbox.
